    American Family v. Ashour, 410 P.3d 753 (Colo. App. 2017)

    Mike helped an insured, whose claim for underinsured motorist benefits had been denied, obtain coverage under a $1,000,000 policy. This case established new law, expanding the ability of individuals to recover under their own underinsured motorist coverage for work-related injuries.

    2011

    Children's Wish Foundation International v. Mayer Hoffman McCann, 331 S.W.3d 648 (Mo. App. 2011)

    Mike helped a charitable organization that provides wishes to terminally ill children obtain a new trial against its accounting firm based upon instructional error. This case overturned prior decisions which had limited the ability of a party to apply comparative fault to economic injuries, and expanded the ability of plaintiffs to recover damages in such cases.

    Harris v. Jungerman, 560 S.W.3d 549 (Mo. App. 2018)

    Mike helped his client recover on a $5,750,000 verdict arising from an incident in which a homeless man was shot by a property owner.

    2013

    Wilson v. Image Flooring, 400 S.W.3d 386 (Mo. App. 2013)

    Mike helped his client recover on a $1,565,625 verdict, and obtained the right for his client to pursue further punitive damages in a subsequent proceeding. This case established new law regarding the ability of an employee to seek punitive damages against an employer for direct negligence in instances involving vicarious liability.
